The school was established in the year 2016 in the name of GEETANJALI VIDYAPITH managed by SHERSHAHI EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY.
Due to some reasons SHERSHAHI EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY was unable to give enough time to look after the school its academic matter and other activities of the school.
In the month of June 2016, SHERSHAHI EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY formed a managing committee to look after the school with very noted persons from various sphere of society. SHERSHAHI EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY determined to develop the school with all modern facilities like CCTV Surveillance, Digital class room, water purifier and all other necessary amenities. The management started recruiting staff members as per WBBSE and WBCHSE guidelines.
